​​Trinley Wongmo is a trader and business consultant who navigates the intersection of analytical precision and contemplative depth. Having navigated a complex upbringing, Trinley Wongmo brings a unique perspective on resilience and the importance of creating safe, trauma-informed, and ethical spaces. Her professional background spans education, writing, and front-line experience working with court-ordered individuals in Problematic Sexualized Behavior (PSB) settings—a role that required navigating high-stakes human behavior with unwavering boundary, compassion, and accountability. Today, her work focuses on: 1.) harm-reduction and ethical sangha growth and 2.) addressing a critical gap in the Western Buddhist landscape through the establishment and development of a dedicated nunnery for Western Tibetan Buddhist nuns — a mission currently anchored by founding the Dharma Integrity Project in 2026.

​Trinley Wongmo’s path has been defined by a lifetime of cross-cultural, multi-lingual, and cross-religious immersion. During her formative years, she was periodically in the presence of Master Benhuan (Chan, Linji - 禪, 臨濟宗), which yielded an early foundation that would later deepen through her relationship with her root teacher, Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo, whose guidance and friendship has become a defining influence in her life and from whom she received the name — Trinley Wongmo. Her own efforts started when she decided to memorize the Heart Sutra at the age of eight. This foundation was broadened by spending years in Christian schools (some Catholic, mostly Baptist), followed by a transformative period living in Türkiye after college. There, she moved beyond her initial academic study of Islamic history, the Holy Qur’an, and Turkic languages to becoming fully immersed in the lived experience of Turkish culture and the practices of Sunni Islam.

Today, Trinley Wongmo brings this rich, multifaceted perspective to everything she does — from the technical discipline required for market analysis, execution, and trade management to her consulting work in organizational and business development. Whether she is analyzing market patterns or facilitating community-driven projects, she is dedicated to finding the pragamtic balance between tradition and contemporary application. Outside of her professional work, Trinley Wongmo maintains a disciplined routine of fitness and meditation.

Note: Trinley Wongmo's "wangmo" (དབང་མོ་) is spelled with an “o” rather than an “a” in keeping with the way Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo originally articulated the name.
